JAMMU, Dec 15: In the Public Interest Litigation (PIL) filed by Inderjeet Khajuria, President All Jammu Hotels and Lodges Association regarding inordinate delay in artificial lake and gondola projects, Division Bench of State High Court comprising Chief Justice N Paul Vasanthakumar and Justice Bansi Lal Bhat today granted one week’s time for filing fresh status report.
After hearing Senior Advocate BS Salathia with Advocate Meenakshi Salathia appearing for the PIL whereas Senior AAG SS Nanda with AAG Ravinder Gupta appearing for the State, DB granted one week’s time for filing fresh status report regarding identification of persons in whose period the encroachments have taken place.
“The status report should also reflect as to what steps have been taken to remove such encroachments”, the DB said.
