JAMMU, Dec 15: A woman committed suicide by hanging herself at her temporary residence in Nanak Nagar area of city outskirts.
According to police sources, the woman identified as Sanjana (25) wife of Krishna, a resident of Lucknow and at present residing in a Nanak Nagar area falling under the jurisdiction of police station Gandhi Nagar was found hanging at her house late last night.
With the help of neighbours the husband of the woman rushed her to Government Medical College and Hospital, Jammu, where she was declared as brought dead by the doctors.
The body of the deceased woman is lying in mortuary room of the hospital. The concerned police has registered a case and started investigations.
