Sewa-II Power Station provides X-Ray Machine to Govt hospital

KATHUA, Dec 15: The Sewa-II Power Station of NHPC, Mashka (Jammu and Kashmir) today provided an X-Ray Machine to Government Hospital, Bani, under its Corporate Social Responsibility-Sustainable Development (CSR-SD) scheme.
The machine was inaugurated by Jeevan Lal Lalhal, MLA Bani, in the presence of PK Langer, Chief Engineer -Incharge, Sewa-II Power Station. The X-Ray machine has been provided at a cost of approximately Rs 5 lakhs.
Speaking on the occasion, the MLA praised NHPC’s efforts at providing the X-Ray machine to the hospital which shall be highly beneficial for patients in the long run. In his address, the Chief Engineer-Incharge, Sewa-II Power Station, briefed the gathering about the various welfare works being carried out by Sewa-II under NHPC’s CSR-SD policy.
Langer also informed that Sewa-II Power station had been adjudged as NHPC’s Best Power Station under NHPC Awards scheme during the last two years.
