JAMMU, Dec 16: 160 Battalion CRPF today distributed agriculture equipments to the needy farmers of village Channi Nanak, Jammu under its Civic Action Programme.
The equipments, which include spray machines, sickles, spades, spuds, gaintis and shovels were distributed by Sarabjit Singh Ghuman, Commandant, 160 Battalion CRPF, in a simple function organized in the village.
The main purpose of the event was to harmonize the relations between public and force.
The villagers requested the CRPF to hold such an eventful program again and again in future so that the needy farmers might get various types of agriculture equipments and increase their produce.
The programme was also attended by Saudagar Singh Saini (local Sarpanch) and other prominent locals of the area.
