Trump wins 5th presidential debate in Las Vegas

WASHINGTON, Dec 17:  Republican frontrunner Donald Trump has won the fifth presidential debate in Las Vegas that focused exclusively on foreign policy and national security, a new poll said today.
69-year-old Trump, the New York-based real estate tycoon who was occupying the centre stage during the debate, has the support of 35 per cent of the registered Republican voters while Texas Senator Ted Cruz was the runner up with 25 per cent, according to the poll conducted by One American News Network.
While Marco Rubio came third with 14 per cent of the votes, his fellow Floridan received just three per cent of the votes, the poll results said.
Twenty-six per cent said Bush flopped on Tuesday night.
According to the poll, nine per cent thought Chris Christie, while Ben Carson and former Hewlett-Packard CEO Carly Fiorina were tied for fifth place with five per cent each.
The debate marked the first time the White House hopefuls shared a stage since terror attacks in Paris and San Bernardino. It lasted more than two hours where presidential aspirants focused exclusively on foreign policy and national security. (PTI)
