JAMMU, Dec 17: Army last night arrested a youth of Pakistan occupied Kashmir (PoK) when he infiltrated inside the Indian territory from the Line of Control (LoC) in Shamwan battalion area of Akhnoor sector.
He has been identified as Abdul Rehman, 20, son of Asgar Ali, a resident of PoK.
Reports said the alert troops observed the youth sneaking into the Indian side from LoC in Akhnoor sector and apprehended him. No significant recoveries were made from his possession.
The youth was reported to have sneaked into the Indian side inadvertently. However, he was being questioned to ascertain reasons behind the infiltration.
