Srinagar, Sept 4: Security forces today recovered an arms and ammunition haul from the South Kashmir district of Anantnag.
Police said that in a joint operation, Anantnag Police and 19 RR recovered conducted search operation on a specific information in Pathribal area of Anantnag today.
Police said that one AK 47 , five AK Magazines , three hundred AK rounds, two UBGL Grenade , one Binacular, one Compass, 1 pouch and a medical kit were recovered in the forest area of Pathribal, Anantnag. The search operation is still going on, police added.
Meanwhile, there was a mysterious blast in Pampore, in South Kashmir district of Pulwama on the National Highway today. However, no damage was done.
Police in North Kashmir’s Sopore town recovered a live grenade.
