JAMMU : GOC of 16 Corps of the Army Lt Gen R R Nimbhorkar today called on Governor N N Vohra at the Raj Bhavan here and apprised him of the prevailing security situation under his area of command.
Lt Gen Nimbhorkar briefed the Governor about the prevailing situation along the Line of Control (LoC) and the emerging security environment during winter.
The Governor discussed with the General several issues relating to effective surveillance of the IB sector and further strengthening of the counter-infiltration grid.
The Governor also spoke to GOC about security concerns in the hinterland. (Agencies)
