RAJOURI, Dec 23: The police today recovered a young girl who was kidnapped by a youth from Kotranka area some time back.
A police spokesman said that on the complaint of one Mohd Aziz, resident of Gakhrote in Kandi (Kotranka), a case was registered by police at Kotranka Police Station. Aziz alleged that his 19-year old daughter was allegedly kidnapped by one Shakeel Ahmed, son of Mohd Bashir hailing from Thannamandi area.
The police parties conducted raids at several places and finally managed to recover the girl from Thannamandi area. The accused Shakeel Ahmed was also arrested.
