Kishtwar, Sept 5 : Member Legislative Assembly (MLA) and National Conference spokesperson Sajad Ahmed Kichloo said that the people friendly approach of the present dispensation has frustrated the leadership of opposition parties, which was evident from their rhetoric and propaganda campaign against the ruling dispensation.
Addressing a party meeting, where several youth joined National Conference, Mr Kichloo termed Peoples’ Democratic Party and Bhartiya Janta Party as two sides of same coin, who are bent upon to divide the people on the name of region, religion and caste. The divisive politics by these political parties, he said, is detrimental to the integrity and unity of the State.
He said that State Government under the dynamic leadership of Chief Minister Omar Abdullah has unleashed a new era of development and prosperity. The measures taken to take out the state out of the mess created by the PDP Government has started bearing fruits and people have realized that those habitual of building castles in air have been actually hoodwinking them with their false promises and hollow slogans Mr Kichloo asked the party workers to gear up for the upcoming urban local bodies elections, which are expected to be held by the end of this year.
