Rehabilitation package in shambles

Sir,
The Prime Minister’s return and rehabilitation package was announced long back in the year 2008 as a step towards rehabilitation of KP unemployed youth in Kashmir valley. However, due to pathetic handling by the successive Governments has resulted in the total failure of the scheme. The Government is partial towards KP community in particular as only the fake promises, false assurances and wrong commitments have been given to them. The Government had claimed to rehabilitate around 75,000 Kashmiri Pandit families but the harsh reality is that the Government could not even rehabilitate 2000 families during the last eight years since the package was announced by the then PM Dr Manmohan Singh. The unemployed migrant youths are willing to work  in the Valley but the callous attitude of the State as well as the Central Government  is creating havoc only. It is pertinent to mention here that out of the 6000 jobs created by the Central Government only 2000 vacancies have been filled and the remaining 4000 posts have been left unfilled. Out of these 2000 youth only 800 youths have been given accommodation that too on sharing basis. No one knows how much time the Government will take to recruit another 4000 jobs which remained vacant. This shows how biased is the State Government towards this part of community.
Yours etc….
