SAMBA, Dec 24: One day convention of Prajapati Kumhar Sabha was held at Samba under the chairmanship of Bua Ditta district president and Ashok Badyal chief advisor of the Sabha Samba.
A large number of the community peoples from various parts of the district Samba and adjoining areas have Participated in the Programme. In this convention various problems being faced by the community were discussed.
The speakers while expressing their views said that the main occupation of the community is making of earthen pots and carrying of loads on the horses and mules and earthen pots are not in demand now as they have been replaced by the stainless steel, untencils, Motorable auto load carrier auto etc. The people of this community are facing very difficulty for earning their livelihood.
Ashok Badyal chief advisor of the Sabha has asked the Birdhari people to impart education to their children by their all means and advised the un-employed youth of the community to adopt new method of Pottery Profession with latest designs and modern techniques.
