JAMMU, Dec 28: A deputation of Non Gazetted Agriculture Graduates Association (NGAGA) led by its general secretary V K Ambardar met Commissioner Secretary, Agriculture Production Department M A Bukhari here today and apprised him of the problems being faced by the agriculture technocrats in the State.
The demand of long stagnation in the cadre of Junior Agriculture Extension Officers (JAEO) was also discussed. The delegation said that for last over 28 years they are working on the same post which is a grave injustice.
The delegation demanded implementation of one man one post at Class Vii and above and JAEO be elevated to AEO.
It demanded early conducting of DPC which is the simplest way of resolving the pending demands.
The Commissioner Secretary informed the delegation that the Department has already taken some corrective measures in this regard.
