GRP saves life of woman

JAMMU, Dec 28: GRP Jammu saved the life of a woman, who got slipped from DMU train and got trapped between the train and the platform gap at railway station Budhi.
According to SP Railways Suram Singh, a woman identified as Champa Devi (55), wife of Sukh Ram, a resident of district Kathua slipped from DMU train and got trapped between the train and platform gap, when she was boarding the train at railway station Budhi.
He added that GRP men immediately rushed to the spot, made efforts and pulled her out and shifted her to Primary Hospital, Budhi as she received injuries.
Later, the woman was referred to Government Medical College and Hospital (GMCH), where she was responding to the GMC Jammu, where she was responding to the treatment when reports last came in, SP added.
