JAMMU, Dec 28: A man was injured when a Mahindra Sports Utility Vehicle (SUV) he was going on met with an accident in Channi area of city outskirts.
The mishap occurred around 10 pm near Ritz Hotel when the speeding SUV bearing registration number JK02BH-0092 hit the divider of the road and turned upside down. In the mishap the man received serious injuries.
The flying squad from Channi police station immediately shifted the injured to Government Medical College and Hospital, Jammu for treatment. The identification of the injured could not be done immediately.
The concerned police have taken cognizance of the matter.
