Labourer electrocuted

JAMMU, Dec 28: A labourer of a private company engaged in work of erecting electric poles today landed here in Government Medical College and Hospital after he suffered a severe electric shock at Talab Tillo.
According to a police spokesperson the labourer has been identified as Bahar Din (30) son of Sarfaraz, a resident of Mahore (Reasi). As he was busy in erection of an electric pole in Talab Tillo area, he came in contact with a high tension wire above his head and suffered severe electric shock.
“The victim is being treated at GMCH Jammu and out of danger”, the spokesperson said adding the concerned police has taken cognizance of the matter.
