JAMMU, Dec 30: State Bank of India (SBI) donated five wheel chairs and five stretcher trolleys under its Social Corporate Responsibility to Primary Health Centre Jagti Township Nagrota.
The stretcher trolleys were donated by Rajesh Anand, Regional Manager, State Bank of India, RBO-2 Jammu in presence of RK Pandita, Relief Commissioner (Migrant).
The health centre is providing health care facilities to the migrant families who have been provided accommodation there.
Speaking on the occasion, Rajesh Anand stated that SBI is actively involved in Community Service Banking and is always ready to help the needy organisations/institutions who render their services to the mankind without any consideration of caste, creed, colour and religion.
He expressed gratitude to gathering for reposing their faith in the Bank and giving them a chance, to serve them.
RK Pandita, Relief Commissioner (Migrant) said that the chairs and stretcher trolleys donated by SBI will go a long way in helping the patients at the hospital. Pandita also requested them to donate a hi-tech Ambulance for the up coming newly constructed hospital in Jagti Nagrota.
Among others present were RK Bhat, Executive Engineer (Migrant), BK Wantoo, Senior Marketing Executive MPST Jammu, Anil Mattoo, Branch Manager Nagrota, PK Behl, Desh Rattan and Roshan Lal Raina.
