JAMMU, Dec 31:  Jammu Kashmir and Ladakh All Department Clerical Staff Association has appealed the Government to implement recommendation of the Pay Anomaly Committee and warned stir if the demand is not conceded by January 13.
“It is very unfortunate that the Government is adopting delaying tactics and calculus approach in implementing report of the Committee, which has recommended up-gradation of pay scales of clerical cadres for removal of their pay disparity,” said Ravi Singh Bhau, provincial president of the Clerical Staff Association, while addressing a press conference, here today.
He lamented that the Government implemented the recommendations partially and removed anomalies of Police Department as well as Patwaris only even as the committee into the matter has made recommendations in respect of three cadres. The Government addressed the anomalies  of two cadres only by ignoring Clerical cadre and showed step motherly attitude towards us,” Mr Bhau said and added that the Clerical cadre is the backbone of the State administration, which has been working with full sincerity and performing multiple tasks despite mental and physical stress.
“If the Government does not implement recommendations of the committee by January 13, 2016, the Association will intensify the further course of action and announce Kaam Chhor Hartal,” he warned.
