JAMMU, Jan 1: The All State Kashmiri Pandit Conference (ASKPC) has strongly criticized the Relief Organization that instead of creating a mechanism of redressing the grievances of the displaced people it is issuing irrelevant orders to harass the relief holders.
The ASKPC which met here today under the chairmanship of its president Ravinder Raina advocate termed the recent order issued by relief authorities to open their accounts in J&K Bank totally irrelevant. He said the relief holders are not the employees of the State Government who are supposed to get their pay from J&K Bank only.
He said it is irony on the part of relief organization as the relief amount is being released out of internal security head of Central Government and the State Government stands for its disbursement only. The State Government has to pay more attention towards the welfare of the internal displaced community rather than putting them to unnecessary harassment, he added.
The senior vice president ASKPC, R K Wangoo said that the Relief Commissioner should visit the camps by-weekly to have at and on spot study of the problems and find out their solutions. He also demanded renovation of TRTs.

The general secretary, ASKPC, T K Bhat made an appeal to Home Minster to use its offices in facilitating the pilgrimage of Hindus to Sharda Temple in PoK and said the Central Government should intervene in getting the temple renovated by PoK authorities.
