UDHAMPUR, Jan 2: J&K Private School Association has strongly criticized the Government order on starting extra coaching classes for a particular section of the society and depriving the locals from benefit of the same.
“While declaring the winter vacation vide Govt. order no. 626- Edu of 2015 Dated 23-12-15, the Government. has categorically restrained the private schools for running even board classes during these vacation and threatened strong action against the defaulters while on the other hand, instruction have been issued for starting extra coaching classes for the wards of Darbar move employees,” the Association said.
Ajay Gupta, State coordinator of the Association, strongly opposed this double standard policy of the Government and said that children of private schools also need extra classes for the proper completion of their syllabus. He also demanded free hand and internal autonomy to the private schools to raise the standard of education in all respect.
Ajay Gupta appealed the Government to allow Private schools to run extra classes for class 8th to 12th during vacations.
