Kavinder asks officers to complete tendering process of Barole bridge

JAMMU, Jan 2: Speaker Legislative Assembly and MLA, Gandhi Nagar, Kavinder Gupta visited various areas of Gandhi Nagar constituency along with the officers of administration. He visited Greater Kailash, Bandurakh, Greater Jammu, Marble Market and directed the works department to take the work of road and deep drains in these areas.
He visited the site of the newly sanctioned bridge at Barole Nallah connecting Gandhi Nagar with Bishnah Constituency and directed the PWD(R&B) to complete the tender process in time and start the work at the earliest, it will benefit the public at large and they will not have to face the wrath of floods during rainy season, he said.
Gupta inspected various ongoing projects of PWD(R&B). He asked the executing agencies to strictly follow the guidelines and maintain the quality of the works and also to speed up the execution of these works so that a timely relief can be given to the people. Underlining the importance of local people, he said the role and cooperation of general public is very important in achieving the all-round development and urged them to come forward and monitor the ongoing developmental works.
While interacting with the locals, Gupta listened to their grievances and charged the previous successive representative of the constituency for allowing the total neglect and discrimination of the area, the Gandhi Nagar constituency is entering into an era of progress and prosperity due to the efforts and schemes of the present coalition Government and assured the people that all their genuine demands will be fulfilled in a time bound manner, he added.
