Coalition to fulfill aspirations of people: Yudhvir

JAMMU, Jan 3: Describing Jammu and Kashmir as land of co-existence, Senior BJP leader Yudhvir Sethi said that the State is known for its composite culture and communal harmony and mutual brotherhood are hallmarks of the society.
He said the BJP has worked to strengthen the social fabric of the society and the present coalition Government is working to address aspirations of all sections of the society.
“Our Government is committed to take along all sections of the society and all round development of all regions and sub-regions of the State is the resolve of the Government,” he added.
Yudhvir Sethi was speaking at a felicitation function organised in his honour by the people of Ward Number 5. Large number of people from all sections of society attended the function.
Highlighting achievements of the Government, Yudhvir said mega-development projects have been initiated in the last less than a year and with active support from the Union Government many more ambitious projects are coming up in the State. He said the Government is contemplating to develop capital cities into smart cities and under the AMRUT scheme better urban facilities would be created in cities.
He said that as compared to earlier Governments the people have seen a sea change in governance, adding that the era of favouritism, inefficient and corrupt governance is a thing of past and now the present dispensation is committed to provide transparent, responsive and corruption free administration.
“ Prime Minister Narendra Modi  has been giving focused attention towards the State and the recent package of Rs 80,000 crores is another step in the direction to provide support to the State,” he added.
