JAMMU: National Investigation Agency (NIA) Director General today called on Governor N N Vohra, at the Raj Bhavan here and discussed various issues related to the security situation in the State.
The Governor and the NIA Director General, Sharad Kumar, discussed issues relating to the near half dozen terrorist attacks which have taken place across the LoC and IB, at Arnia, Kathua, Samba, Dina Nagar, Udhampur and Pathankot, and the systemic measures which are required to be taken.
Kumar also briefed the Governor about the NIA shortly commencing functioning in the State from its upcoming establishment in Jammu. (AGENCIES)
