PUNE-Jan 8: AUTO’15 EXPO- the 15th Indian Automobile Trade Fair is scheduled to be held from February 16 to Feb 21, 2016, at B J Medical College Grounds, Pune.
The theme of this year’s event is “Next Generation Automobiles”. Special Focus would be on “Mechatronics”. The Expo will be inaugurated by Transport Minister Diwakar Raote and over 50 thousand people from all over western India are expected to visit the exhibition.
Proposed displays at AUTO’15 Expo include Passenger Cars, Two Wheelers, Auto Components and Parts, Test & Measurement systems, Sensor Technology, Oil & Lubricants, Garage / Service Station Equipment, Tools, Tyres, Auto Accessories, Car Security Systems, Auto Finance and services, Research & Development and Publications.
There would be special focus on concept vehicles, designed / modified vehicles, vintage and classic vehicles, and Electric & hybrid vehicles. A separate Defense Pavilion would display some prominent vehicles and requirements of spare parts by the Indian Army.
Seminars, conferences and audio – visual presentations are held concurrent to AUTO’15 in order to disseminate information on technological trends in the automotive industry.
Technological developments in Automotive industry, Automotive Electronics, Industry Institution Interaction meet etc would be the focus of the conference programs. Western India Garage Owners / Mechanics Meet will be held as part of the event. Industrial visit to manufacturing companies in and around Pune will also be a part of the Expo.
A Novel student pavilion would display some of the best designed vehicles by Engineering colleges of Pune which were part of international and national vehicle design competitions.
Posters displaying information on current pressing issues of traffic, such as signaling, parking, air and noise pollution, traffic control and management, pedestrian safety will also be part of this pavilion.
AUTO’15 Expo at Pune is expected to be a meeting point for representatives of manufacturers, marketers, traders / dealers, service engineers, mechanics, garage owners, all concerned professionals and students.
