JAMMU, Jan 12: A 45-year-old man was found dead today near Railway Yard in Narwal area of city outskirts.
According to a police spokesperson, the man identified as Baldev Raj (45) son of Parkash Chand, a resident of Rajendra Pura, Vijaypur in Samba district, was found dead this morning in the Railway Yard in Narwal area. He said the deceased was a truck union leader and had suffered a heart stroke only yesterday. “So there is every possibility that he died due to heart stroke”, he added.
After completing all medico-legal formalities, the body of the deceased was handed over to his legal heirs for last rites. A case in this connection has been registered at police station GRP Jammu and inquest proceedings started under 174 CrPC.
