SAMBA, Jan 12: A pedestrian was killed late last night after a car bearing registration number JK 08 C 6343 which was on its way to Hiranagar hit a divider of NH at Tapyal Morh Ghagwal and rolled down on road.
The deceased has been identified as Jatinder Kumar, 40, son of Mela Ram of Katal Brahmna. Police said Kumar received grievous injuries after he was hit by the car which turned turtle on NH.
He was shifted to DH Samba by police but doctors declared him as brought dead.
The Ghagwal Police has registered a case under relevant Sections of the law.
