SAMBA, Jan 12: The contractors of Samba held a protest demonstration in front of PWD Rest House here against the non clearance of bills by the various departments due to shortage of funds.
The protesting contractors shouting slogans in support of their demands alleged that their bills for last three to four months have not been cleared by various departments with the result the contractors have been put to many hardships.
They demanded immediate release of funds to the concerned departments so that the bills can be cleared and contractors saved from mental agony.
