NEW DELHI, Jan 13: After reviewing the weather condition, the railways has decided to restore services of all Rajdhani, Shatabdi, Duronto and Jan Shatabdi trains, whose frequencies were reduced due to fog, from Friday.
Earlier, the frequencies of many Delhi-bound trains including 14 Rajdhani, one Duronto, 10 Shatabdi were reduced from January 8 to February 29 keeping the prevailing fog situation in mind.
After reviewing the weather condition, it has been decided to increase the frequencies of 96 trains from Friday, said a senior Railway Ministry official.
He said there are 70 pairs of popular trains and 12 pairs of daily Mail/Express which have been fully restored.
However, frequencies of 326 trains will remain curtailed till February end.
Railways has cancelled 610 trips till Jan 12, as per frequency reduction plan during the fog. (AGENCIES)
