JAMMU, Jan 14: Bishnah police arrested a person for smuggling bovines.
As per police sources, on specific information, a team from police station Bishnah laid a special naka at Deoli and intercepted a Mahindra vehicle bearing registration number JK02BG-4023.
During checking, police rescued one bovine animal from the vehicle and arrested a person, who has been identified as Kulbir Singh, son of Sardol Singh, a resident of Khour Dunia, Tehsil RS Pura.
A case under FIR Number 14/16 under Section 188 RPC has been registered at police station Bishnah and investigation started.
Police team led by SHO Bishnah police station Inspector Kulbir Singh Choudhary made the arrest under the supervision of SDPO RS Pura Harjeet Singh, SP Headquarters Jammu RC Kotwal and SSP Jammu Uttam Chand.
