Army organizes career guidance prog

Srinagar, Jan 16: A career guidance program for youth was today organized by Army at Government Higher Secondary School in Nihalpura village of Pattan in north Kashmir’s Baramulla district.
A defence spokesman said the aim of the program was to provide guidance to the hardworking and struggling youth on the various career opportunities available to shape their future in the fields of Engineering, Information Technology, Medical, Commerce, Civil Services, Law and Army.
“The guidance was provided to the young ignited minds by SSP Baramulla, Imtiyaz Hussain Mir and Medical Officer Shahnawaz who enlightened and motivated the audience to realize their potential and work with determination and self belief to achieve their goals.” the spokesman said.
He said the audience also got an opportunity to have an interactive session with the eminent members of panel from various professional fields to include ITI Pattan Vice Superintendent, Abdul Ahad Khan and High Court lawyer Imran Gujri.
“These eminent panelists answered the queries of participants to their satisfaction,” he said.
