Mufti’s dreams will be carried forward: Hamid

JAMMU, Jan 16: Senior PDP leader, Choudhary Hamid today said the programmes and policies of Mufti Sayeed will be carried forward in full spirit and every effort will be made to realise his dreams wherein he wanted peace in the entire sub-continent and justice for all.
He was speaking during a meeting of the party workers held here today.
Paying tributes to former Chief Minister of Jammu and Kashmir and patron of People’s Democratic Party (PDP) Mufti Mohammad Sayeed, PDP leader Abdul Hamid Choudhary today said that the party, State and country have lost a statesman, great politician and a visionary who always stood for right and worked towards dawning peace in the State especially in entire sub-continent. In his death the party has suffered an irreparable loss, he added.
Conveying his condolences to the bereaved family and party colleagues, the speakers prayed for peace to the departed souls. “The State under his dynamic leadership was progressing by leaps and bounds but his sudden demise has left a void”, they added.
Choudhary Hamid while praying for courage to the family and party colleagues resolved to take the dreams and aspirations of Mufti Sayeed forward with same will and ability that was once displayed by him as a statesman, leader, politician and a great human being.
