POONCH, Jan 16: Syed Taj Hussain Shah has been elected as new president of Poonch Bar Association.
Election for the post of president , Bar Association Poonch was held here today in the court complex at 2 pm. The result was declared at around 4 pm. Advocate Syed Taj Hussain Shah emerged as winner by securing 36 votes while his rival Bakshi Gulshan Kumar secured 24 votes. The tenure of the new body will be of two years. The other office bearers will be elected shortly.
