REASI, Jan 17: Police has arrested a bootlegger from Bus Stand area in Reasi town and seized 40 pouches of liquor from his possession.
Acting on a specific information, a Police team, headed by SHO Reasi, Inspector Romal Singh, conducted special patrolling at Bus Stand Reasi and intercepted the accused namely Nitu Kumar of Serbad Katra. During the checking, Police recovered 40 poly pouches, measuring 250/250 ml each of J&K Excise liquor from his possession. The accused person was arrested and recovered liquor pouches were seized.
In this connection, a case FIR No. 10/2016 U/S 48-A Act has been registered at Police Station Reasi and investigation of the case is in progress.
