JAMMU, Jan 18: A class 12th girl student, who got reportedly kidnapped from Shamachak area yesterday, has been recovered today.
As per police sources, yesterday, the family members lodged a complaint with police station Kanachack that their daughter studying in class 12th daughter has been kidnapped from Shamachak area.
Acting over the complaint, a case under relevant Sections was registered and manhunt was launched to trace out the girl.
The girl was recovered today and was handed over to family members after completing legal formalities.
Police team led by SHO Kanachack Rakesh Singh recovered the girl under the supervision of SDPO Domana SK Sharma, SP Rural Rajiv Pandey and SSP Jammu Uttam Chand.
