Ganga lays foundation of culvert

SAMBA Jan 18: Former Minister and MLA Chander Parkash Ganga today laid foundation stone of 6m span  culvert on link road  Reore . The project is being constructed at an estimated cost of  Rs 20 lakh under BADP.
The MLA, while addressing a mammoth gathering after laying the foundation stone, said that Union Government has kept provision of ample funding to pace up the network of roads and bridges which will bring about much needed change besides upgrading  the connectivity scenario  in the State.
Stressing on the need for better coordination from locals for effective implementation of development works, Ganga  said that State administration is working hard to ensure quality development works in every part of the State with emphasis on deprived and unattended areas. He said that complete transparency and accountability is being ensured at all levels with added responsiveness so that long lasting and viable assets are created under various prestigious projects.
Enumerating several initiatives taken by union government like start up, Swachh Bharat Abhiyan, Jan Dhan Yojana, Atal Pension Yojana etc Ganga said that all these initiatives aimed at empowering common masses by ensuring social, financial security. He further asked people to come forward and avail the benefits of various welfare programmes designed by Modi Government for their betterment.
Among others Choudhary Saleem,Hamid Hassan, Bachan Lal, Bal Mohd,  Abdul Majid, Noor Mohd, Nazir Ahmed ,kaka Choudhary besides large number of people attended the gathering.
