Srinagar, Jan 18: Police today said a lady who had allegedly set herself ablaze couple of days ago succumbed at a hospital here.
A police spokesman said a lady, resident of Mattan in south Kashmir’s Anantnag district, succumbed to her burn injuries at SMHS Hospital here.
“After completion of medico-legal formalities, the body of the deceased was handed over to her legal heirs for last rites. Police has already registered a case in this regard,” the spokesman added.
