KATRA, Jan 18: An unclaimed bag, containing clothes, mobile phone and some documents, was yesterday returned to its owner, who had lost the same at Mata Vaishno Devi Bhawan on December 31, last year.
The unclaimed bag was found by Police patrolling party of Police Station Bhawan during patrolling duty at Bhawan on December 31. An announcement in this regard was flashed through JPCR Bhawan but nobody reported for the collection of bag. Meanwhile, the contact number of the pilgrim, to whom this bag belonged, was found by Police from the perusal of documents. When contacted, the pilgrim informed that he had left Bhawan and after few days his son would collect the bag from Police Station Bhawan.
Yesterday, Dharmedra Gupta, son of Rishi Paul Gupta of F-1/950/A New Delhi, reported at Police Station Bhawan for collection of the said bag. Accordingly, the bag was handed over to him by Police after clarification of his ownership.
