JAMMU, Jan 18: Continuing anti-encroachment drive, Tehsildar RS Pura, Abhiskek Abrol under the directions of SDM RS Pura and DC Jammu, with the help of local police demolished an illegal structure raised around a water body in RS Pura.
The action was taken after a complaint that some people have encroached a water body by erecting illegal boundary walls and other pillar structures.
The revenue team headed by Tehsildar demolished the illegal structure and booked the trespassers for violation.
Moreover, the Tehsildar has sought explanation from concern Municipal authorities for such unchecked violation within their municipal limit.
