Five injured in road mishaps

JAMMU, Jan 19: Five persons were injured today in separate road mishaps in city and its outskirts.
According to a police spokesperson, three persons were injured near Poonch House in Talab Tillo area when the load carrier they were going on lost control and hit a pole along the road in wee hours of today. The injured identified as Joginder Kumar (24) son of Bodh Raj of Purkhoo and Kamaljeet (25) son of Chander Pal and Shri Chand (18) son of Garu, both residents of UP, at present living in Muthi area of Jammu, were shifted to Government Medical College and Hospital (GMCH), Jammu for treatment.
Another mishap occurred this morning at Trikuta Nagar when two cars collided with each other. In the mishap, Bittu (35) son of Parkash Chand of Nanak Nagar and Abhay Kumar (19) son of Rajinder Kumar of Channi Himmat received injuries. They were shifted to GMCH for treatment.
In both cases the concerned police have taken cognizance.
