‘Kalyanmayee’ organizing beautician, stitching courses for women

JAMMU, Jan 21: Airports Authority of India’s Women Welfare Association “Kalyanmayee” is organizing 6-month training program for each “Beautician” and “Stitching” course under Corporate Social Responsibility at Civil Airport Jammu for under privileged class of women.
This training program shall be focusing on training a group of 15-20 ladies for beautician and stitching course each to make them self dependent and also for further imparting the same training to other members of the under privileged society.
The entire expenditure of the training program and the infrastructure required shall be borne by the Airports Authority of India, through its Women Welfare Association “Kalyanmayee”.
In an impressive function, the training program was inaugurated today at civil Airport Jammu. Priti Gautam wife of Airport Director, DK Gautam and president of Kalyanmayee Jammu Unit, while speaking on the occasion gave a brief outline of the projects being taken by “Kalyanmayee”.
Vijaya Rajendra, wife of Director General of Police, K Rajendra, who was the chief guest, while speaking on the occasion emphasized the need for ladies to be financially self dependent. She also wished for the successful completion of the project undertaken by “Kalyanmayee”. Pratibha Singh was the guest of honour.
The function culminated with vote of thanks by Airport Director, Devindra Kumar Gautam.
