RAJOURI, Jan 21: The Forest Department team during anti-encroachment drive, retrieved nearly 159 kanal of forest land in Nowshera Forest Division today.
Official sources said that Forest team led by Sudesh Sharma, Range Officer under the supervision of DFO Nowshera AD Singh organised an operation in compartment No. 107/N and retrieved 107 kanals of land from the possession of three encroachers.
In yet another operation in Androoth block , the Forest team led by Arif Mirza cleared 56 kanals of forest land from the possession of eight persons. Two structures raised by the land grabbers were also smashed. The land falls in compartment No. 89/N falling in Rajwa and Bagla.
