SBI donates stretchers, wheel chairs to hospitals in Udhampur

UDHAMPUR, Jan 22: State Bank of India, Main Branch, Dhar Road Udhampur, today donated 10 stretchers and 10 wheel chairs to various hospitals of the district.
In the presence of District Development Commissioner Udhampur Dr Shahid Iqbal Chaudhary, the stretchers and wheel chairs were handed over to the Chief Medical Officer, Udhampur, Dr Chander Mohan at District Hospital Udhampur. Dr Narinder Bhatial (Medical Supdt.) and other Staff members of the hospital were also present on the occasion.
A K Razdan (Regional Head, State Bank Of India, RBO-V, Jammu) welcomed District Development Commissioner and other guests and informed about the Banks policy of Community service under which such donations are being made.
Chief Manager, Main Branch Udhampur, V K Bhardwaj and Chief Manager Rural (RBO-V),  T S Arora  informed that Bank has earlier also donated fans, computers and water filters under the same Community service scheme.
District Development Commissioner Udhampur, Dr Shahid Iqbal Chaudhary complimented SBI for such type of donations and advised to provide such facilities to individuals also who need such support. He also enquired about the bank’s other initiatives being made for Community purposes.
Earlier also State Bank of India has donated Stretchers and wheel chairs to various hospitals in different Districts.
