Cashew declines on subdued demand

NEW DELHI, Jan 23:  Cashew prices fell by Rs 5 per kg in the national capital today due to subdued demand from retailers and stockists amid adequate stocks on increased arrivals from producing belts.
Besides, subdued demand from bulk consumers put pressure on cashew prices.
Cashew kernel (No 180, 210, 240 and 230) prices eased by Rs 5 each to settle at Rs 765-775, Rs 665-670, Rs 620-625 and Rs 575-580 per kg, respectively.
Marketmen said slackened demand from retailers and stockists against increased arrivals, led to a fall in cashew prices.
