JAMMU, Jan 23: Rich tributes were paid to Subash Chander Bose on his 119th birth anniversary.
On the 119th birth anniversary of Subash Chander Bose, BJP Freedom Fighters and Martyrs Cell organized a programme at party headquarters to recall the role of this great freedom fighter and pay floral tributes. The programme was organized by BJP Freedom Fighters and Martyrs Cell State Convenor Bharat Bhushan Sharma.
BJP Senior Leaders Yudhvir Sethi, Vikram Randhawa, Brig Anil Gupta and SS Bijral spoke on the life of Subash Chander Bose and described him as a great revolutionary.
Mohan Singh Chouhan, Balbir Ram Rattan, Nand Kishore, Racchpal Singh, Virenderjeet Singh, Naresh Dogra, Subash Gupta, Pt Ashok Kumar, Ayodhya Gupta, Kulbushan Mohtra, Sanjay Baru, besides many others were also present.
J&K Freedom Fighters’ Association (JKFFA) organized a function to observe the 119th birth anniversary of Subash Chander Bose, at Netaji Park Town Hall, Jammu. The function was organized by the President of the Association Ved Gandotra, wherein Harsh Dev Singh, President, JKNPP was the chief guest. National flag was hoisted, followed by garlanding the statue of Bose. The children of New Modern School Upper Gummat, Jammu sang the National Anthem with National Flags waving in their hands. Rajiv Mahajan, State President, Shri Ram Sena, Parbhat Kapahi, Rajinder Singh, Gurbachan Singh, Raj Rani, Narayan, Hari Singh, Bansi Lal, Ram Rattan Raina, besides many others were present.
On the eve of 119th birth anniversary of Subhash Chander Bose, a function was organized by NCP. On the occasion, Former Minister and NCP president, J&K Randhir Singh threw light on the life of Bose. Among others present were Krishan Kumar Digra, Satpal Sharma, Javed F Rehman, RS Billowria, Gourav Kapoor, Sandeep Manhas, Vikram Mahajan, RC Bali, Tariq Nar, Choudhary Isshaq, Choudhary Dev Raj, Jarnail Khokhar, etc.
Netaji Subash Chander Bose Manch, Rajouri in collaboration with National Public Higher Secondary School, Rajouri paid tributes to Subash Chander Bose on his 119th birth anniversary. Speaking on the occasion, Sunil Gupta, president of the organization urged the students to follow the footprints of Bose. Vivek Jandial and Aditya Mahajan, members of the organization, as also Kanav Badyal, MD of the school were also present.
Sangarsh in a programme held at Rajouri paid rich tribute to Subash Chander Bose on his birth anniversary. While speaking, Kuldeep Raj Gupta, Vice Chairman, Pahari Advisory Board, MLA Rajouri Choudhary Qamar Hussain and Vice President Sangarsh Advocate Shoket Ali threw light on the life of Bose. Vikrant Sharma, activist, Prof MB Magray, Babu Ram, Ashwani Kumar, Muneer Mirza, Vinod Gupta, Rohit Gupta, besides many others were present on the occasion.
On the eve of birthday anniversary of Subash Chander Bose, the villagers of Tehsil Hiranagar organised a function at Chapper Morh. A large number of villagers from Chapper Morh and other adjoining villagers marked their presence on the occasion, whereas Former MLC Subash Chander Gupta graced the occasion as chief guest.
An inter college symposia on “National Security-is it the concern of Uniform Fraternity only?” was organized on the occasion of 119th birth anniversary of Subash Chader Bose at Government College for Women, Gandhi Nagar. The symposium was organized by the Forum for Awareness of National Security, J&K Chapter. Priya Sethi, former MOS for Education, Culture and Information, was the chief guest and Air Marshal (Retd) Dr RC Bajpai, National President of the forum and Dr Kiran Bakshi, Principal, Government College, Gandhi Nagar were the guests of honour. Vice President of the forum VS Sambyal presented the welcome address. Students from various colleges participated in the symposium. Seerat Bazi stood as the best speaker and won cash prize of Rs 7500, Ritu Sharma stood second and was awarded with cash prize of Rs 5000, whereas, Harshita Sharma came third and was awarded with Rs 3000. All other participants were awarded with Rs 1000 as consolation prize for participation. However, all the participants were provided certificate of participation and mementos. In the end, vote of thanks was presented by Prem Sadotra, State general secretary of the Forum.
Under the banner of All India Democratic Students Organisation (AIDSO), All India Democratic Youth Organisation (AIDYO), All India Mahila Sanskritik Sanghathan (AIMSS) and All India United Trade Union Center (AIUTUC) observed 119th birth anniversary of Subash Chandra Bose. Hundreds of people assembled at Mandi House and marched towards Jantar Mantar. Later, a meeting was organized, followed by cultural programmes and speeches. The speakers were Bhaskaranand from AIDSO, Prakesh Devi from AIDYO, Advocate Deepika Jain from AIMSS, Ghrivar Singh from AISEC and Harish Tyagi from AIUTUC.
