JAMMU, Jan 27: 1st Additional Sessions Judge Jammu, M A Choudhary today rejected the bail of two narco smugglers namely Jagbir Singh and Parveen Singh.
After hearing Advocate Rouf Lone for the applicants whereas APP Ajay Singh Manhas for the State, court observed, “keeping in view gravity of offence, concession of bail to the applicants at this stage shall hamper the further investigation as the offence committed by the applicants generally is a part of organized crime”.
“Taking liberal view in such matters amounts to showing undue sympathy at the costs of the society at large”, the court said. Accordingly, the court rejected the bail application of narco smugglers.
