Implement court order on removal of pay anomalies: JKLCSA

JAMMU, Jan 29: The Jammu Kashmir Ladakh Clerical Staff Association (JKLCSA) has appealed to the State Government to implement the J&K High Court order on the removal of pay anomalies.
In a meeting of the Association held here today under the chairmanship of Babau Hussain Malik ( president), the members appealed to the State Governor and Chief Secretary to implement the J&K High Court orders in letter and spirit with regard to the removal of pay anomalies of the clerical cadre employees. They pointed out that the pay anomalies of the clerical cadre be removed by giving grade of Rs 4000-6000 to Junior Assistants, Rs 4500-7000 to the Senior Assistants and Rs 5500 to 9000 to the Head Assistants.
The speakers during the meeting also demanded release of 6 % DA with effect from July 2015, enhancement in Medical allowance from Rs 300 to Rs 2000 per month, grant of dislocation allowance to the employees posted away from their home district, release of budget for early disposal of pending GP Fund cases, regularization of daily rated/ contractual employees, implementation of Medical Insurance scheme in case of non-Gazetted employees and merger of 50 % DA into the basic pay.
Mr Malik while criticizing the Government said that High Court had given two months time to the State Government for the implementation of the order but the Government has been causing unnecessary delay. He condemned the previous Govt for not honouring its commitment and the later, not implementing the High Court orders. He said that Govt just befooled the employees and made commitment but later backed out. Malik warned the Government not to test the patience of the employees.
