JAMMU, Jan 29: Managing Director (MD), State Bank of India, Rajnish Kumar, inaugurated two new branches of State Bank at HUDCO building, JDA Complex, Bahu Plaza, here today.
MLA Nagrota Devender Singh Rana, Chief General Manager, Anil Kishora, General Manager Network-3, Chandigarh Circle Kumar Rajan and Deputy General Manager, Module Head, J&K Awadhesh Kumar Singh were also present.
This branch is a hi-tech, automatised, non-manual and paperless with cutting edge state-of-art technology bringing modern technology in banking to Jammu. The branch has the facility of direct video conferencing interaction with corporate centre for customers.
Thereafter, HNI Branch was inaugurated in the Administrative Office of State Bank of India, Rail Head Complex Jammu. The HNI Branch caters to the needs of high net worth income group and providing the services at the door steps to the customers. The branch will cater to the needs of customers in wealth management services. The premise has the facility of WI-FI, luxurious lobby, customer lounge and a conference room. The premise has also the facility for HNI customers to arrange their business meetings in the specialized conference room.
While speaking, Rajnish Kumar said that with the opening of these two branches the Bank is keeping pace with the fast growing technology and the proof of that is these two branches which are first of its kind in State and the people will feel at home while dealing in these branches.
He added that these two branches have been designed keeping in mind the latest technology which will not only be liked by the young generation but is suited to the older generation also. He stated that the Bank has introduced paperless banking and sbiINTOUCH is the perfect example of that.
