MENDHAR, Jan 29: A young woman, allegedly kidnapped by a youth hailing from Chhajla area of Mendhar was recovered by police today.
A police official said that one Abdul Aziz, resident of Sakhi Maidan lodged a report at Police Station, Mendhar, that his wife Ruksana (name changed) went missing on January 19, 2016. Later, it was known that she has been kidnapped by one Ayaz Ahmed, son of Maqsood Ahmed, resident of Chhajla in Mendhar.
The police party led by ASI Bashir Ahmed today recovered the woman from Kas Baladi area of Kalaban. Ayaz Ahmed managed to escape. The police was looking for him. A case has been registered in this connection. She was married hardly a month back, the police said.
