JAMMU, Jan 29: The Government today ordered transfer and posting of senior IPS officer Johnny Williams, DIG Crime Branch, J&K, as DIG Rajouri-Poonch range in place of Ashok Kumar Atri, who is retiring from the services on January 31.
The post of DIG Crime Branch has been left vacant.
Johnny Williams had earlier held various important assignments in J&K including the post of SSP Traffic, SP City etc.
An order for posting of Johnny Williams as the DIG Rajouri-Poonch range was issued by the Home Department today with the approval of Governor NN Vohra.
