SRINAGAR, Jan 30: Under the Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s Mission “Start-UP India, Stand-Up India, Aryans Group of Colleges, Chandigarh today organized a program “Start-Up Kashmir, Stand-Up Kashmir” to highlight the innovations done by Kashmiri students of the Valley under this mission at Srinagar.
Syed Abdul Rauf, Joint Secretary Examination JKBOSE was the chief guest on the occasion. He honoured various Kashmiri students for the their contribution in the field of Information Technology and developing Android Apps, including Pipe App, Jobs in Kashmir app, Duke Travels App, Netshell, Aryans Android App and Aryans Save Kashmir App.
While congratulating developers of these Apps, Syed Abdul Rauf said that the Aryans was working hard since last 8 years in the field of education and innovations and has become a destination for Kashmiri students outside Kashmir.
Sanjeev Bhardwaj, Director, Corporate Relations, Aryans Group, informed that under the prestigious Scheme “Start-up Kashmir Stand-up Kashmir” Aryans aimed to recognize and honour the efforts of young and budding Kashmiri youth and entrepreneurs who ingeniously developed Applications used by a large number of societies.
Giving the description of “Kashmir Box” Muheet Mehraj and Kashif Khan said that we have connected the dots and developed Kashmir Box- an e-commerce portal for selling everything ‘Kashmir’.

Aryans Kashmiri students Sadiya and Yusra were honoured for developing “Aryans Android App” to solve the problem of ban on SMS in the State J&K.
Another “Save Kashmir App” developed by Aryans students namely Tahira, Muddasir and others during the floods in Kashmir to check and know the well beings of flood affected people and come forward for the help of needy people.
